Welcome to Costessey Nursery
At Costessey Nursery, we are dedicated to providing a safe, secure, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive. Our passionate Nursery team works closely with children and their families to foster relationships that encourage emotional, social, and intellectual growth.
With two spacious rooms for exploration and access to a wonderful EYFS playground, our Nursery offers a variety of play-based learning experiences that support each child's development. We create a happy, supportive atmosphere where children can grow to their full potential, guided by our fantastic team.
We promote positive behaviour with a focus on being safe, respectful, and ready. Our Nursery is an integral part of the wider school community, working closely with Reception classes and the EYFS team to ensure a smooth transition for children continuing their education with us. Our dedicated Nursery Team is committed to making every child's journey with us memorable and meaningful.
Within the nursery we offer the following sessions:
- Morning session 8.45 – 11.45am
- Afternoon session 11.45am – 2.45pm
- All day provision 8.45am – 2.45pm
Funding and costs
We offer both universal (15 hours) and working parents (30 hours) funded places along with the option for paying for additional hours at £15 per session. Please visit www.norfolk.gov.uk/40458 for useful information regarding Government Funding.
We do not charge for any consumables or food whilst in the nursery (mid-morning snack of fruit and milk is provided free of charge). Should you wish for your child to have lunch at nursery, you can either order them a school lunch from our catering company The Pantry, or send them in with a healthy packed lunch.
Wraparound care
Nursery children are also able to access our paid breakfast (7.30 - 8.45am) and after school care (2.45 - 6pm) – full details are in our admissions policy below.
